Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Ashley and I’m from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I became vegan in 2006 for ethical reasons and since then have developed an interest in food, especially baking. I never cooked before becoming vegan and soon discovered to be vegan, you can’t rely on food prepared by someone else, you have to learn how to cook! I also enjoy photography and you can see my photos on my flickr (one of my serious addictions). I am currently in my third year in a Bachelor of Arts program, majoring in sociology.

Right now, this blog is going through some changes and will be heading towards a new direction, I’m just not sure where at the moment!
